This little Pinecone Squirrel is the latest addition to our fall nature table. I love to make seasonal nature crafts, especially out of things we have found on our nature walks. We have a lot of pine trees where I live, so we make a lot of crafts out of pinecones and pine needles. In the past we have made witches brooms out of pine needles, and a bee out of a pinecone. We use our Tree Identification Cards to study the pine tree and pine cones before our make out crafts. The boys love making things out of what we find in nature! We have a lot of pinecone crafts! You can see all the pinecone crafts we’ve made here.
