My sons Silas and River absolutely loved this activity. We started the morning off with a walk and collected whatever weeds, leaves and flowers we could find. Then we brought them home and got to printing! The boys enjoyed the sensory experience of smelling the different foliage, and feeling the different textures. My son’s are only one so I don’t expect much from activities like this, but when I brushed off the flowers and showed my son the paper, he was amazed! He kept saying “Wow! Wow!” I thought this paper would go straight to the trash but of course I had to frame it after that reaction. I put it up in their play area and Silas always point at it and “talks” about it. I loved seeing that little spark inside him.The hammer came from this adorable tool set by Camden Rose. The “roller” is a pair of claves.
