We have quite a collection of fall nature crafts that we’ve made this season! Our autumn nature table is looking pretty festive this year.
Cardboard Bean Bat Mosaics
Cardboard Bean Bats are fun to make on a rainy day with things you already have at home. They are a great craft made of recyclable material, and also provide a calming sensory experience to my boys. These were a fun way for us to teach the letter “B” and also get us excited for Halloween!
Pressed Flower Salt Dough Moon Mobile
We made this craft for the Harvest Moon! We made a moon mobile out of salt dough and pressed flowers. Salt dough is one of our favorite crafts because it can be used in so many different ways, and it is really easy to make!
Pumpkin Beeswax Candles
This pumpkin beeswax candle was a great addition to our fall nature table. We have made it part of our seasonal tradition to make a beeswax candle at the beginning of every season or holiday. n the past we’ve made walnut candles, apple candles, seashell candles and orange peel candles. These would be great to make after going pumpkin picking, a tiny alternative to jack-o-lanterns!
Fall Sensory Writing Tray
My boys loved playing with this fall sensory tray, and it was very simple and affordable to make! If you’ve been following our fall nature crafts, you’ve seen these cardboard mushrooms before! We made a cardboard puzzle out of our free downloadable vintage mushroom poster and here we have found a new use for the pieces.
DIY Recycled Cardboard Mushroom Puzzle
When I saw this mushroom poster, I knew I had to make something out of it! I decided to make this puzzle out of recycled cardboard. I used the vintage poster to use the designs for our puzzle. You can find a free download to the poster that we used here.
Laminated Fall Leaves
These laminated leaves couldn’t be easier to make, and they last forever! We made these over a year ago and they are still going strong.
Beeswax Apple Candle
Beeswax Apple Candles are a great decorative nature craft. This would be a great craft to do after apple picking in fall.
Squirrel Pinecone Craft
This little squirrel was made from a pinecone and felt, making it the perfect nature craft for fall.
Fall Leaves Suncatcher
We made these beautiful suncatchers to celebrate Autumn Solstice. They are made out of round coffee filters.
Pine Needle Witches Broom
This Pine Needle Broom is another great nature craft to celebrate Halloween.
