These are the waldorf birthday crowns I made when the twins turned 2. Silas is my sun, River is my moon. Silas had always been a morning person, while River is a night owl.
To make these, I used watercolors on white felt. Then I needle felted them, and hot glued the purple felt underneath. The play silk is dyed with madder. I also posted about the Waldorf Birthday Ring that I crafted here.
We adorned the twins with their crowns and sang:
