Every Easter, we try to make handmade gifts and egg fillers for the boys Easter baskets. While it would be easier to pick up a few grab bags at the store, we try to be environmentally and budget conscious, even during the holiday. We also try to be sugar free as much as possible. The boys love our handmade holiday traditions. Here are some of our favorite eco-friendly and handmade Easter egg fillers.
We used these eco-friendly cardboard easter eggs. We added pressed flowers to them, using the same method we used for our wooden eggs. Tutorial for the pressed flower eggs can be found here.

What are your Easter traditions? These handmade baskets take more time to make, but for us, they are worth the effort. Happy Easter!
