This week we visited our local nature center and attended a nature art class. There are many nature centers run by the county that have free or affordable classes, so be sure to check if there is one available near you! In this class the teacher showed the kids all different kinds of animals and their colors. Then we went to the table and the kids made their own color wheel on a paper plate. After that, we went outside and found colors in nature that matched our color wheel! The kids had a lot of fun with this activity, and it gave them a new set of eyes when observing the natural world around them.
