We are a nature loving family, but we also a Nintendo loving family! These Korok painted rocks are the best of both worlds. During the pandemic I discovered the joy of geocaching. For those who don’t know, geocaching is an app that has you go on a little “treasure hunt” in your local neighborhoods, parks, etc. Once you find a geocache, you write your name on the list of finders and plant it back where it was before. You can also create your own geocache for others to find. This is such a fun activity to do with kids, and gives purpose to your nature walks.
A Korok is a character from The Legend of Zelda. In the game Breath of the Wild, you are encouraged to explore and find these little hidden wooden creatures called koroks. Thus, I had the great idea of making them our geocache!
