It can be challenging to find art supplies for toddlers which are enriching, but also not a total mess! My boys love to draw, paint, sculpt, write. They are a handful, but it is so much fun to see everything they come up with.
Window Crayons
These window crayons are an absolute favorite! They are easily wiped off of the windows and floors. They have the texture of a soft soft crayon. They last a really long time.
Dry Erase Crayons
These are another one of my favorites. I make laminated worksheets, the crayons work perfectly and wipe off easily. They would also be great for a dry erase board.
Tempera Paint Sticks
Paint without the mess! These are like glue sticks, but have the feeling of paint. It dries incredibly quickly, so it is much less messy than regular paint.
Dot Markers
There are so many great worksheets for dot markers available, which make these a lot of fun!
Modeling Beeswax
You will need to warm this before they use it, but this stuff lasts forever! It is a waldorf classroom staple. It is a moldable wax, takes more strength than Playdoh, but it is less messy and keeps them busy for longer.
First Pencils
My boys have a great pencil grip. I think this is because I started giving them pencils at a year old. These thick short pencils are great for small hands.
